Phymateus viridipes Stal, also known as green earrings or African locust Locust Bush, under their Pyrgomorphidae (picky Grasshoppers), African locust is a 70 mm (2.8 in) at maturity and ability long migratory flights. The body and its front side is colored green while the hindwings are bright red and blue, presents a striking appearance in flight. The pronotum, or the area immediately behind the back of the head, covered in spikes or carbuncles which is usually in red italics. Nymphs, hoppers or yellow and black and very gregarious, forming large groups in this growth phase and less complicated.
